When the kids were young, we had a beloved babysitter who sang "Castle on a Cloud" as a lullaby and the lilting melody is part of our family lore. Naturally, we took the kids to Les Misérables when it last came to town but they were probably too young to truly appreciate its historical sweep and romantic power. We're headed to France for a celebratory family trip this summer, and are excited to see Boublil & Schönberg's legendary musical before we depart. What better way to get in a Parisian mood?
